Do You Know This Saviour That We Sing About?

Did you know that you are going to live forever? Yes, that’s right – every human being born on this earth will live forever. The real question is – Where will you spend that eternity? The choice is yours – Heaven or Hell. If you are not sure where you’ll spend your eternity, let me tell you how to reserve your place in heaven so that you too, can truly “Live” forever instead of just “existing” in a devil’s hell.

Jesus, the Son of God, died on Calvary’s cross for the redemption of your sin. He provided the way for you to make it to heaven and be with Him for eternity. With Jesus, there is hope of a better tomorrow.

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Saviour, or if you have known Him in the past but have forsaken Him, won’t you please read this page and learn how to accept Him into your life? Jesus always offers a second chance, but don’t wait until it is too late. While God has made many promises to us, the promise of life tomorrow is not one of them.

First Know This… God Loves YOU!!

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

Then Know This… Man is a sinner and sin has separated him from God.

“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

Followed by This… Jesus Christ is the ONLY remedy for sin.

“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God…” I Peter 3:18

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

Lastly…You must receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour.

Jesus calls this experience the new birth. “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” John 3:3 We invite you now to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.” John 1:12

You need to pray this prayer from your heart, acknowledging your sin and your acceptance of Jesus Christ’s redeeming work on the cross…

Dear Lord Jesus, I realize that I am a sinner, and I accept the fact that you died on the cross for the redemption of my sin. I believe that you conquered death, hell and the grave when you arose on the third day. I believe that you now sit at the right hand of the Father making intercession for me. I now ask you to enter the door to my heart and indwell me. I ask that you be my personal Saviour and the Lord of my life. Please take control of my life and lead me in the path that you would have me travel. Help me to be the Christian that you would have me be. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

If you have prayed this prayer and would like to learn more about this Jesus we serve, I recommend that you get a bible and read the entire chapter of John. Let your Christian journey begin there. You will learn of the love in which Jesus is capable. Then find yourself a bible-believing church and go there for the nourishment of your soul. You will find strength amongst other Christian people. Don’t worry, we all served satan at one time or other and most of us weren’t too ashamed of it at the time. Don’t you be ashamed to serve God. You are now on the winning side!!
